Just a quick note to say, wow, where do I start, thank you for putting on such a great weekend, one that I will remember for the rest of my life. What an event, what amazing back up you provided…..your never quite sure when you book something off the internet, but came up trumps with Velocamps.

Attention to detail was second to none.Thank you again,

Marcus and I will see you next year.
Keep healthy.

Paul Rusby, Executive Director, Commercial EMEA

“Hi Ed,
Once again thanks to you and Richard for a great weekend.

FYI – we are nearly at £5k in sponsorship – your contribution was very much appreciated.

Best regards,

Bespoke weekends- Spain/France/Italy

“I have been on three bespoke foreign cycle tours with Velocamps and cannot recommend them enough for the diversity, and research, of the routes recommended to us, the support on the routes (there are support riders to cater for all standards), the hotel choices which are well chosen and of a high standard, the overall organisation and finally great value for money.

Many other companies can say that they can do all of the above, but when you are dealing with very friendly staff having to cater for at times an overly demanding clientel, where missing bikes have become the norm, bike items do break and fatigue does set in, yet a sense of humuor is always maintained and all problems solved with the minimum of fuss, but more importantly are dealt with.

The proof is that we always come back for more and look forward to many more Velocamps organised trips in the future.”

Bespoke Weekends & La Marmotte Sportive.

“I’ve travelled with Velocamps on numerous occasions, on several personalised group tours in Spain, France and Italy as well as La Marmotte Gran Fondo and these trips have been highlights of the year. In James and Ed, Velocamps is run by cyclists for cyclists and their desire to ensure their clients have a memorable trip shines through.  Meticulous organisation & logistics, carefully thought-out and spectacular routes, back-up vehicles, mechanical support and nutrition mean that all I’ve ever had worry about is the riding. I should also mention the high quality hotels, particularly on the Barcelona, Geneva-Nice and Como trips (usually with pools/spa facilities) which provides a real motivation when cycling and a destination finish to the end of a hard day’s ride. Last but not least is the good humour that the team bring to their work – even when the occasional thing doesn’t quite go to plan, nothing ever seems to ruffle the feathers. Highly recommended”.

Bespoke All Female Weekends- Amalfi Coast & Croatia

“Thank you so much for putting together such fabulous cycling trips.  They were a perfect combination of stunning cycling, great food, wine & culture.  Everything was so well organised, we did not have to worry about a thing.  Looking forward to the next trip!”

Jane Rawlings – Brighton

“You could never imagine cycling along the Amalfi coast with its narrow windy rounds but it is the best way to travel. The views of the coastline are spectacular and the people are far more friendly as you pass (on a bike). Great lunch stops with opportunities to swim in the wonderful Mediterranean sea.

Croatia too has stunning coastline with teracotta-roofed villages along the way (with great shopping opportunities!). The island of Bol has challenging hills to cycle but you are well rewarded by a long cycle downhill through beautiful countryside with the Adriatic sea as the backdrop.
Both trips are superbly well organised, with a great variety of adventures and plenty of wonderful cycling. 5 star recommendation!”

London To Barcelona 10 day Tour, 2012

“We had a fabulous 10 days riding through the 3 countries. From our sunset meal on the Brittany ferry leaving Portsmouth after stage 1 to our final run into the Med on hot Catalan tarmac, we were greeted with sunshine and clean quiet roads all the way down, with some very scenic stopovers. This is a great way see the best of France and Catalonia while ticking off a ‘Bucket list’ trip. It also represented good value for money compared with other trips I have done.”

Jon Greenhaugh- TV/Commercial Director- London

“I had a blast riding through France and the Pyrenees on this trip, and lost more than a few pounds!. The scenery was outstanding throughout, especially the Dordogne and Pyrenees. Some of the riding was tough, but that’s what a challenge is about, and the sense of achievement is immense on arriving at the Mediterranean. Nice small riding groups as well, with good support. Staying in the 12th century city defenses at Cordes was great.”

Marmotte and Etape Du Tour

“I have been on 3 Etape trips and 1 Marmotte with Ed and James and have enjoyed the Velocamps experience immensely. The small groups and hotels close to the start lines allows loads of flexibility as well as plenty of ‘Hands on’ support and advice. They are also good value compared with other operators out there. The celebratory meal after the Marmotte was a real bonus.”
